Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Natalie Pikul
c/o COCENTER
Koppoldstr. 1
86551 Aichach, Germany
Email: info@nataliepikul.de
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically collects technical connection data (such as IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser used), stored in server log files. This processing is necessary to technically display the website and is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider where required.
3. Cookies and local storage
This website itself does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools. Consent under § 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) is therefore not required, since no access to end-device information beyond what is technically necessary to display the page takes place.
4. Fonts
Fonts on this website are hosted locally (not dynamically loaded from Google servers). Your IP address is therefore not transmitted to Google or other external providers when fonts are loaded.
5. External links to shops
This website links to external sales pages (for example DIPON, Amazon, IngramSpark partner shops). When you click such a link, you leave this website. The privacy policies of the respective providers apply to any data processing on the linked pages, over which I have no control.
6. Contact form
If you use the contact form at nataliepikul.de/en/contact/, I process the information you provide (name, email address, message) solely to handle your inquiry, based on Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Processing runs through a PHP script on the web server that forwards the message to me by email. The data is not stored in a database. It is deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed, unless legal retention obligations apply. The same applies to the collaboration form at nataliepikul.de/en/collaboration/; there I also process your company, your website (optional), and the type of request.
7. Protected area for readers of my book
The prompt library for my German-language book (reached via nataliepikul.de/p/) is protected by a user name and a reader code printed in the book. It uses the web server’s built-in login (HTTP basic authentication). All readers share the same login details; there is no account and no email address is requested. Your browser remembers the entry for the current session and sends it, encrypted, with each request. No cookie is set for this. The shared user name may also appear in the hosting provider’s server log files (section 2). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in making the book’s content available to its readers only).
The “Copy prompt” button only places the text on your device’s clipboard. No data is sent to me or to third parties.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21) to the processing of your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
