Why I make music

As a child I wrote poems and little stories. Today I write books and song lyrics. Words have always been my passion. For a long time, music was a dream I kept to myself.

But I’m also one of you: I make art, film videos, and sit in the edit wondering which song fits. The music I’d really love to use is often off limits for my content. Worried about legal notices, I even archived older videos that used that kind of music. It hurt, because every single one of them held real work.

So I look for music that’s cleared for commercial use. And honestly? On Instagram especially, that’s often disappointing. There are exceptions, of course. But most of the time I listen through countless songs and think: none of them fits my video. At some point even the search stops being fun.

That’s why I started making my own music. I write the lyrics myself. With AI as a production tool, I shape the sound I’d been looking for to go with my images and stories: music for flowing colors, golden light, love, and new beginnings.
